Random Musings

I bought Battlefield2 on Wednesday. It has definitely exceeded my expectations, and EA has regained some of their reputation after the flop that was Battlefield: Vietnam. The only complaint that I have is that promotions take forever.

BK (DNS may not be working yet) has put up a new wordpress blog. I don’t know what will be up there, but it will give me something new to read on my morning internet fixes.

I’ve been trying to read more lately, and I’ve developed a weird habit of starting a book, reading about 100 pages, then moving on to another book. I’m not real sure what I am thinking, but hopefully this fad will pass and I can finish all the ones that I have started. The first few pages of this book is pretty interesting. I’ll let you know if I recommend it…after I finish it, of course.

Don’t forget to check out the links on the side of the page. They are there for you to clicky-clicky on, and you might find something you like.

Oh, forgot to mention this a while back, but a guy has posted a number of John Piper sermons here for anyone who is interested. You will have to know how to use torrents in order to get them. If you need help, call India.

Disclaimer: As this is a “Random Musings” post, grammar is not important. (So don’t try to use this against me Caleb).

A Wedding, An Exodus, and A Blog in London

Lots has been happening since the last post, which wasn’t really post…more of a reply, but that is beside the point. June started off with a bang as my older sister Darci got hitched. I spent all of last week at home helping out. Its funny how I took a vacation from work, yet ended up doing more work on vacation than I do at work. So much for catching up on sleep…

I’ve mentioned Albert Mohler before, but he had some interesting commentary on a new book that talks about how liberal churches are declining and conservative churches are experiencing a ’surprising’ growth. After so many years of churches trying to offer things that people wanted and deviating from the gospel, the Word of God, preached in its full and glorious message, is once again causing an insurgence of growth among conservative Christians. What a testimony that the words and theatrics of man cannot even come close to comparing to the full truth and glory of God in his word. I ordered the book last night and look forward to reading it.

Also, I’ve failed to mention this before, but my cousin recently moved to London with her husband of 6 months. They have a nice blog going, which they update way more often than I do. Although, for as long as I have had this domain, Bree has yet to do the simple math and realize that yes, there can be a website at cozart dot org, and not just email addresses. For all the money she spent becoming a farmer, you would think that she would have learned some logical reasoning…
