For those that are reading this and have no idea who Tano is, I apologize. For those who have been privileged enough to have their lives shaped by the likes of Tano, please join me in welcoming him to the world of the blogosphere!
It started with a comment or two on the Patricia Country Club, sparking a fire inside my heart that had long since faded. Could it be that the one and only Tano Enriquez was now blessing us with his presence on this great scratchpad we call the internet? Only time would tell.
For a while, I felt as if Tano had moved on to greener pastures, perhaps a world of new technology that none of us could know about. But alas, my fears have been relieved! He has returned, and to my blog of all places! Oh if words could describe the feelings that I have experienced. The memories that have returned. The tears of joy. And the tears of pain.
From the shattering of the bus window, to those long autumn days spent on the practice field, my life was forever changed. With each new day brought new memories that are just now resurfacing. His eloquence on the tuba. His graceful moves on the football field. His amazing grasp on the english language and his ability to say such things that were convicting and life-changing. Forever these memories are etched in my mind, and more importantly in my heart.
Welcome back Tano.
I would invite anyone that has a story to share of their times with Tano, feel free to use the comment section to do so. Say thanks to the man that has touched us all, Tano.

Somehow I have failed to mention this on here for the past month. Call it old age I guess.
Anyways, it seems that my name “Slade Cozart” carries some sort of intimidation factor. “How?” you may ask. Well, for the past two seasons, there has been an intramural basketball team here at ASU named in my honor (or pity), and currently they are the reigning coed champions. Since my name carries a certain amount of distinguishment, the Rampage ran a story about it. (Ok, so the story is more about intramural basketball in general, but you get the idea.)
So last night is the first Thursday night that I had a chance to go watch my namesake play. Needless to say, I was pretty excited about it. It seems that the other team must have found out that they were playing Slade Cozart, and that the actual Slade Cozart was going to show up at the game, because they got scared! Seriously, Chad and I show up to watch the game, and when we get there, we find out that it had been called off! The other team used the excuse that they were scheduled to play a team other than Slade Cozart at the same time, but the fact that they chose to play a team other than Slade Cozart shows just how intimidating I am!
I guess the reputation of my basketball prowess is enough to make others fear the talent that a team named after me must have.

I’m not sure I want to admit this here, but for some reason, I ended up watching CMT tonight after the ASU basketball game. I think its because before I left for the game, I started watching a show on there about Kinky Friedman, an independent candidate running for the Govenor of Texas. I’m not real familiar with him, but started watching a reality TV show on him.
Anyways, back to the point of this post; I come back in from the game and turn on the TV, and the next thing that I know, I’m watching a show about pimping out 18-wheelers. Much like the MTV show Pimp My Ride, this show takes a old truck that is need of some serious work and restores it with extravagant paint jobs, lots of neon lights, and over-the-top interiors. You know those shows that you cannot explain why you are watching them, but you just get trapped into? Well, Trick My Truck is one of them.
There is nothing like giving a truck to a redneck, and telling them that they have full control of doing whatever they want to it, regardless of the truck. Hardwood floors, surveillance cameras, enough neon lighting to make Vegas jealous, and all the chrome that you can imagine, and you have a typical truck that these guys produce.
I don’t think that Alabama imagined anything like the trucks that The Chrome Shop Mafia produces when they penned the classic “Roll On (Eighteen Wheeler)”

Just as a note for anyone that has tried calling me in the past couple of days:
My cell phone has decided that it no longer wants to work, and by work, I mean turn on at all. Therefore I cannot check my voicemail, nor can I make or receive phone calls. If you need to get in touch with me, email will have to do, or if you feel like supporting the USPS, snail mail. Also, if you have my work phone number, I can be reached there from 8-5 CST on Monday - Friday.
If you use Plaxo, add me to your contacts, and once I get notified that you have added me, you can see all my updated information.

It was recently brought to my attention that people were having problems leaving comments. I forgot to post about me upgrading to the latest version of Wordpress, so that could be causing what problems are occurring. . I have disabled the comment image verification until I can look into why it might not be working. Although, it could be user error. I won’t tell you who is having problems, but let me just say that they are half a world away.
Let me know if it is/isn’t working.
** UPDATE **
I fixed the problems with people trying to post comments and the codes that the images display not working. Please try to comment now and make sure that it is working for all 3 of the people that read my posts.

Hmm…Is this thing on?
Man, it seems like forever since I have had anything post. (Not that I really do now, but I figure I better do something.) I was recently informed that some of the “jokes” that I make on this site not everyone can understand, so my goal with this one, is to keep the humor pretty simple. I think it is true that humor is a sign of intelligence, so for those that don’t get what follows, I hear Dr. Seuss has a new book out.
So anyways, much has changed in the past few weeks. I now live in an apartment. In the past week I both semi-worked out and did physical labor. (I know some of you must have fainted after reading that, so please regain your composure before continuing the post). With the help of my sisters and my mom, I added actual decorations to the aparment. I’m not talking the usual bachelor stuff. I’m talking stuff along the lines of fake fruit. I have not eaten Whataburger once! I cooked on a number of occasions. I eat breakfast. All the complete opposite of all that I stand for!
Also, I just found out that Luke just submitted a story to digg that made the front page! Here is the evidence:

Ok so this post was going to be longer, but Caleb is online and active, and I haven’t talked to him in forever…so that means all the other babble I had to say will wait til a later day.
