You know those little things that happen in the morning that can just make your day, like waking up next to your wife, only to realize that you have another hour to sleep, and then rolling over to hold her?
Well, today I had two of those things. First off, I did wake up early and got to roll over and hold Laura. Then, to top that off, when I got to work, I received a call from my favorite 2 year old nephew-in-law Carter, who proceeded to tell me he wanted chocolate milk with me. How can a day get any better?

I’m not real sure what to write here. At first I thought about making comments about why I think that Florida does deserve to play Ohio State in the BCS championship, but then I remembered that everyone and their dog has already done that very thing.
So instead I am going to start off by complaining about the fact that the TAMU/LSU game is not going to be televised on ESPN or ESPN2. Sure it is going to be on ESPN Full Court, but unfortunately I cannot justify paying for that service. So you might argue that it is my own fault that I cannot watch the game, but when you look at the games that ESPN is offering on their regular cable channels on Tuesday night, you get kind of disappointed. As far as Top 25 games go, you have the following choices:
Cal State Fullerton at No. 2 UCLA
No. 8 TAMU at No. 12 LSU (ESPN Full Court)
Delaware State at No. 9 Marquette
Oklahoma State at No. 14 Syracuse (ESPN)
No. 16 Arizona at Louisville (ESPN)
No. 21 Gonzaga at Washington State
James Madison at No. 23 Georgetown
So what I get to choose from is Oklahoma State/Syracuse or Arizona/Louisville. I understand that OSU and Louisville have storied programs, and Arizona and Syracuse are always teams to contend with, but when you have two very legitimate Final Four teams playing at this point in the season, it seems like you would try to get it in front of as many viewers as possible. And when you compare the TAMU/LSU game to the others on ESPN Full Court (Chattanooga at Kentucky / Charleston at South Carolina), you (or at least I) get pretty disappointed at what ESPN has decided to put on their regular channels.

And how about some pictures to cheer everyone up after that rant:
This picture is of the buck that likes to graze the wheat outside of my parents’ house in the morning and early evening. I’m pretty sure that dad is more proud of this buck than any of his kids. And if anyone killed him, I could almost guarantee that he would hunt that person down and return the favor.

And finally a gallery of Tyson (Darci and Duane’s boxer) enjoying his first snowfall. (One of things I miss about living further north…snow)

Edit: I got tired of the green theme. It hurt my eyes. I guess it is back to the drawing board as far as this site is concerned.
